If you are one of those people affected by Chronic Pain, then you will know that there is nothing worse than being in pain all the time.
There are three different classes to pain management:
- Mild Pain
- Mild to Moderate Pain
- Moderate to Severe Pain
When looking into the problem area, our therapists use techniques to gauge where the pain is coming from. More often than not, the problem may not be directly related to where you feel pain, as that pain is the result of a domino effect of problem areas.
When there is a problem area, the muscles around it work to support it as it is the bodies’ way of balancing out however this, in turn, puts greater pressure on other areas of the body. To get the right balance, we must trace back the original problem to ensure complete balance within the body.
In doing this, we gradually release the unnecessary pressure placed on unusual parts of the body thus lessening the pain and discomfort.
Mild Pain
Pain can be relieved with mild paracetamol or anti- inflammatory. This pain may be reoccurring.
Mild to Moderate Pain
You may have to use both an anti- inflammatory and a paracetamol to release pain. This pain may be more frequent and less bearable.
Moderate to Severe Pain
The pain is unbearable. You may have trouble with regular activities such as walking/ sitting for an extended period of time etc.
In all cases listed, there are problem areas which need to be addressed. These areas can be relieved with massage therapy. Our highly trained professional therapists know the best techniques in which to begin to break down the problem and give you ideas of how to manage the pain at its best and worst state.
